The dyed diapers need to be prepped before use, an important step to ensure there is no dye residue left. Care instructions include knocking solids into the toilet, storing in an open dry pail, handwashing or machine washing, prewashing in cold water, and main washing in cold or warm water. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat, and avoid using bleach or fabric softener.
